I was very lucky to have been invited to the OSIRIS-REx launch at the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida on the 8th September 2016. We were at the VIP viewing area at Banana Creek and whilst the video is pretty okay, it doesn't quite capture two things: the sheer sound of the blast and the atmosphere there. Oh to be surrounded by thousands of enthusiasts who were so excited was quiet special.
