On Saturday 30th October 2010, my mountain climbing companion and fellow plane spotter took me along to Glasgow airport to see the retro liveried Boeing 757 from British Airways arrive for a final visit to GLA. We started off at the 23 approach, which is great for arrivals, and then moved to Crash Gate 2, which is great for taxiing aircraft. Got the BA 757 and Icelandair 757 both arriving and then departing. The highlight for me, as I've never seen it before, was the Emirates Boeing 777, what a beast. The jet blast when it turns onto the runway is superb. Thanks to Peter for a great day out, and we met Ray and Stewart too - top company.
