All my acrylic paints are mixed with a pouring medium in advance contained in squeeze bottles.
Using a 18"x 24" canvas I pour  small puddles of black and  white paint in the center to seat a set of cookie cutters nested inside each other.I fill in the cookie cutters with the squeeze bottles of paints made in advance Each outer cutter has a puddle of paint around it and I will slowly remove it allowing the paint flowing out to flow underneath the puddle (helping to make patterns in the paint.This is a "submersion technique" .In this case some very large "cell" patterns.  as I tip the canvas and see where the patterns flow I also add more paints from the  bottles and use the edge catcher meant to stop paint from escaping and also throw it back into the patterns again as well as covering the edges. 
THERE IS NO SILICONE in this artwork's paint mix.I use ZERO silicon in the pre mixed colors stored in squeeze bottles with no other cell creating additive is included. Floetrol and Gac 800 (By Golden)are what I use as pouring mediums. My paint mix or  "recipe" is as follows. Add color 90%  acrylic color to 10% "Golden's" Gac 800 .Mix thoroughly (GAC 800  prevents cracking) .Add Floetrol( by "Flood") , until the mixture is double (or more ) mix thoroughly. That's the whole  recipe  .To create shimmering colors, I add also"Golden's" Iridescent pearl medium  to colors.As much as looks right . Every day I learn something new. I never stop experimenting and I am happy to share what I discover with you.#3490- wet
