Posting one of my pre-YouTube compositions. Here goes nothing... Many thanks to some excellent musicians here who inspired me to post this, and from whom I shamelessly stole some of the video concepts. superfrodies: http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=superfrodies zzz33333: http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=zzz33333 istolemyownusername: http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=istolemyownusername AdviceToMyClones: http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=AdviceToMyClones Lyrics: Take what's on offer Empty your coffers It's only healthy Buy a new sweater Spend to feel better Make someone wealthy Simply comply Keep your tongue in the groove Don't even try it We're watching your every move Let us help you improve your odds By the way, renounce those false gods Take a vacation but Stay in this nation We need your spending (come on and spend some more) No visiting or indulging the foreigners we're offending (who needs them anymore?) Simply comply And your loved ones will live Don't let them die You will never forgive yourself Let us help you escape that fate Have some sense, before it's too late Have you ever told a friend you didn't need him Replacing whispered words of love with epithets Soon enough you'll feel the same about your freedoms (who needs 'em) So don't you mourn a passing that you will soon forget Silence your crying Soon you'll be buying Your picket fences No time for ardor Work ever harder Drop your defenses Simply comply And you'll be the elite When liberty dies Its marrow will taste so sweet So come let us greet that day Kneel with me, and let us prey This is our day
