Raccoons checking out the Pigeons!!! =)

About 14 years ago I somehow got into the wonderful world of raising pigeons... I had some beautiful birds for many years then one night a stray raccoon broke into the coupe at night and killed all the birds... I was heartbroken and said no more birds... Well since everyone knew I once had Pigeons every time a baby Pigeon fell out of the nest or one had a broken wing... guess who got them! So now I have about ten rescue birds and one Homing pigeon that decided he just liked my setup! I let them out during the day but they all come back before night and they are locked up safe and sound. Well, spring is here and so are the new pups that the Raccoons have and they have little fear when they are in a group or so young. It’s a hard life trying to find scraps to feed three hungry mouths so I make sure they don’t starve until they are big enough to move on... 😃👍
