On Saturday, November 10, 2018, at 9:27 am, an auto versus pedestrian accident occurred on the 2100 block of Market Street. Preliminary investigation reveals that Unit #1, possibly a white 2010 to 2013 Kia Forte sedan with a possible bug deflector on the hood, was traveling south on 21st street turning east on Market Street when it made contact with a 59-year-old male (pedestrian) within the crosswalk of 21st and Market Streets. Unit #1 left the scene and was last seen east on Market Street then south on 19th Street. The victim was transported to Hahnemann Hospital by Medic#35-listed critical condition with a head injury. Vehicle Description: Possibly a white 2010 to 2013 Kia Forte sedan with a possible bug deflector on the hood. If you see this suspect do not approach, contact 911 immediately.
