Having launched 2013 with their epic label compilation Friends Will Carry You Home Too, wrapped us in the beautiful musical tapestry of Uffe's 'Times All' and re-introduced us to San Francisco's local legend Nikola Bytala on his self-titled ep. Pets Recordings now look to soundtrack the summer with their latest V/A collection, 'Home Is Where The Pool Is'. 
Ice-cool and sun-tinged is the order of the day with this new four track ep and its two Pets debutants that lead the way. With a heavy helping of balearic bliss running throughout the release ALiVE boss Tom Budden opens the show with the cascading synths of Lazy June. This is backed by Baise-Moi Dit-Elle from Germany's Borrowed Identity, a track that could easily have been plucked from the classic Cafe del Mar compilations of the 1990s but which is now set to soundtrack our drift into darkness throughout this season. 
UK producer Bearight returns to the fold with the brilliantly named, Buoyant. Bathed in strings this bass-heavy number bobs along and presents itself as a perfect end-of-night selection. Finally Belgium's Rework revisits Uffe's Valentines Card and presents his deep and hypnotic vision.
