I made this video using a live cassette recording of The Sherman Bros Band playing The Old Mill Tavern in 1979. This performance captures just a fraction of the energy and excitement that was The Sherman Bros Band live experience. There was so much more. . . The solo exchange here between guitarist Jack Scott and keyboardist Greg Sherman is nothing short of spectacular, and the bands tightness and groove are undeniable. The song here is the 1967 Alex Chilton Hit "The Letter" done Sherman Bros style. The picture montage consists of photos by band photographer and soundman Erik Poulsen.
