For sale at Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is this first edition Dodge Challenger SRT8. In 2008, Dodge decided it was time for American Muscle to return, and they sure did not disappoint. This Hemi Orange Challenger is fitted with a 6.1 Liter Hemi engine producing about 425 Pony’s, and connected to an automatic 5 speed transmission. With some extra added Mopar modifications under the hood it truly is a beast on the road. The car has received a; Mopar strut bar, Mopar Cold air Intake, and a Mopar Exhaust system to give this bad boy an aggressive sounds while it is eating up the pavement. The car has just over 5,700 miles on it and is in near flawless condition. In 2008 Dodge made only 6400 SRT8’s and 2 were auctioned off for charity for 200k+. This car was the start of modern muscle making a return as Chevy followed up 2 years later bringing back their classic Camaro in 2010. Inside the orange beast is a clean black leather and cloth interior with the SRT logo stitched into the middle of the seats. The car sits on 20 inch 5 spoke SRT rims.
