Men winched to safety after their boat sank in croc-infested waters

Two men had to be rescued (pictured) from crocodile infested when their boat sank off the Kimberly Coast, in Western Australia (inset). The pair, who had been fishing, struggled to get to shore due to thick mud. They were winched to safety a commercial helicopter. Police said that with sunlight fading there was only a small window of opportunity to use the rescue helicopter for a winching operation.
