Been looking in the background for something that would let me capture direct video from actual retro consoles, as the 1st model of the Hauppauge HD PVR gaming edition doesn't like to play nice with the video output of many systems before the PS2 era. Based on Wizwar's suggestion for what he uses for his own recording and streaming rig, I picked up a Dazzle unit, which this footage was recorded with via ArcSoft Showbiz, which seems to have no problems making use of the device even if it was originally purposed for the HD PVR unit.

Test footage is of the NES version of Double Dragon III, recorded from a live system.
