Chasing the Stainless Steel Budd VIA Rail Ocean from Truro to Moncton video 2 of 3 About 30 minutes after departing Truro, VIA Rail locomotives 6449, and 6459 (both EMD F40PH-2D's) lead the Budd HEP equipped VIA Rail passenger train 15 - The Ocean (Halifax, NS to Montreal, PQ) westbound at Folly Lake East. The Tweedsmuir Park is on the rear of the 14 car stainless steel consist. With ongoing problems with the Renaissance equipment during the cold winter weather, VIA Rail is subbing the Budd set replacing one of the Ren sets for the time being.
