The Tokyo Green Industry Conference from 16 to 18 November 2011 highlighted available environmental/resource conservation techniques and practices. It provided a platform for discussions on policy and business solutions to achieve a widespread uptake of proven techniques and technologies, as well as to enable innovation to deliver longer term solutions towards even greater reductions in resource use and pollution intensity. The conference was co-organized by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).
