Outdry technology used in Knox gloves is the most technically advanced method of waterproofing a motorcycle glove. The traditional method is to use a bag type insert featured in approx 99% of the gloves in the market, this is seperate to the outer material and then bonded to the finger tips. The weaknesses with this however is that water can enter inside the glove and sit against the membrane making the glove heavier and colder. Outdry is totally different as it is bonded directly to the outer layer so water cannot enter the glove meaning that the end result is a dryer, lighter, warmer glove.
