Special Edition paying my respect to a special person, my good friend and a thorough Gentleman Late Mansoor Ahmad Saheb (BT) who passed away recently.

This ghazal is one of his own was written on my request. Allah(swt) shower his blessings upon him and may he rest in eternal peace.

My heart felt sympathies for his family on this tragic loss. Especially to his wife Mrs Mansoor Ahmad and his dearest daughter Mrs Tahira Ansar Khan.

Music, Rendition and translation by Hamid.

' Yaad Aayenge Tumhein Ye
Mere Sukhan Mere Baad '

(I will be remembered for my attributes when I am gone)

Ghazal:

Tera mere qareeb ho jaanaa
Hasidu.n ka Naqeeb ho jaanaa
(Your affiliation to me is being pronounced by jealous people in words that are unfair)

Zulm ki inteha hogee
Bezuba.n ka Khateeb ho janaa
(Its the height of tyranny if the unwise become
spokesperson )

Dard ki dastaan suun ke meri
Na khuda ka Mujeeb ho jaana
( Tale of my persecution had such effect that even ungodly listened with compassion)

Maslehat hai ke gardish e daura.n
Doosto.n ka ajeeb ho jaanaa
( Such are the times that even friends change sides for ulterior motives)

Waqt ki baat hai piyaare
Ajnabi ka habib ho jaanaa
( State of uncertainty some times strangers become your friends and friends act strange)

Maut ki eik hichkee thee
Ik jahaa.n ka qareeb ho janaa
(Last breath of life is the death and the only distance between this and after life)

Saadgi sae jo raaz keh daala
Humsar ka raqeeb ho janaa
(Innocent revelation of intimate information can some time leads to a companion becoming a rival)

Tera shikwa tujhee se hai Mansoor
Haaye tera ghreeb ho jaana
(Well! Well!! Mansoor you have many grudges. But cast a look towards ownself. How poorly in status you are )
