Lock Picking: ABUS 83 pick and gut fail / lessons learned

I unfortunately do not have me picking the lock open and a total gutting failure. That AIPTech camera failed after two minutes of recording. I show the aftermath of catching a T pin in the bearing catch hole in the C6A-300 Schlage core for contract keying. That is my guess on the purpose of that stupid hole.
