Good audio recording from Elton John's solo piano tour, Syracuse, New York 2000 April 18. I'm uploading the entire concert. This is track #2 - Skyline Pigeon.

"Skyline Pigeon" first appeared on Elton John's very first album "Empty Sky" in 1969, and so is the oldest song in his repertoire that he still occassionally performs. It was re-recorded with the classic Elton John Band with Nigel Olsson, Dee Murray and Davey Johnstone in 1972 and released as the B-side to the "Daniel" single. That version also appeaered on the CD compilation "Rare Masters". A solo version of it was also included on the LIVE album "Here and There". Although slightly rare, it is a song loved by many Elton John fans!
