The An Cosantóir 10k is an annual event hosted by Óglaigh na hÉireann in the Phoenix Park, Dublin and is open to all current and retired members, as well as invited personnel. The results for 2018 can be viewed here: https://bit.ly/2pNJAOw McKee Barracks was the event HQ for the race itself and the route took the runners around the Phoenix Park to finish in the barracks. This has become a very popular event with no one looking to miss out. The main 10k race is preceded with a block event where units enter as a group of 25 runners. The group must finish together with 20 finishers, so each group is as strong as it's weakest link. This creates support and team building with all participants working together. The main 10km road race is an individual event with age categories and team scoring similar to a Club road race. Well done to all participants!
