Fourth song in the Star Road Sessions Written forever ago by an almost unknown Orphic mumming clown, a minor priest of the White Goddess, and a busker and poet who slept in the streets and the metro stations of old Paris. James Joyce and Picasso get to keep the right bank. Left one is mine, from the marble tombs of Saint Germain des Pres to the little Zoological gardens east of the Ile St. Louis, where the Tigers and the human leopards roar and pace in their cages. The snow of the soul was his home. Lyrics and Music ©1997 by Nicholas Pierotti
