This video starts off a little slow, but don't let that fool you, this is amazing footage. The introduction is just to familiarize yourself with your surroundings. This takes place near Lake Tahoe, California, circa 1955 or so. The lake you see is actually Donner Lake, as you can see the old Donner Bridge at 0:39. It starts to get interesting when my mom shows up on the video, but then you'll see the bears. The wild bears are the stars of this video. You'll notice people in the background, even children just 10 feet away from the bears. These wild bears seem so gentile while they stand up and receive some food through a crack in the car window from my brother and sister and mother inside the car. This is a mother with her cubs close by, yet she doesn't mind people being so close. If you're from California, you'll appreciate this....This scene takes place on the old Highway 40, AKA Soda Springs Road. Cars are going very slow. My father stopped his car on this highway, and the cars passing by have to slow down to a crawl to avoid hitting the bears trying to snarf some food from my siblings. It's just an amazing scene. Also thanks to SK8MIKE for correcting some of the information in this video. Shot and edited by Anthony Sooklaris
