Lucas Beaufort is a French artist with a continually evolving style. His simple lines are drawn sometimes in black and white, sometimes with bursts of color, yet always with deep connection. If you look closely, you’ll see influences from guys like Keith Haring and the 90s skate scene Lucas grew up in - tagging walls and breaking ankles. You’ll also see humans with bird features, wrapped together in form and flight.

Ultimately, Lucas’s art is about “how to live with each other in this crazy world.” Billabong has been working with him for a few years now and we’re proud to announce our latest collaboration: The Billabong Gallery x Lucas Beaufort collection.

Featuring a range of tees, from short sleeve to long, monochrome to colored, sweaters to boardshorts and more, the collection is complemented with a cap and chaos pouch.

To celebrate, we created this short film with Lucas, looking into his wild mind. Enjoy.
