Using SolidWorks, I designed a press fit construction kit that incorporates a special type of "mortise and tenons". Each little element has four double tenon snap lock connectors on them and a plethora of mortises. I used SolidWorks simulation to check to make sure I was getting reasonable flexure without breaking the clips.
