@dsourceindia Jakhoi and Khaloi is Design Resources from IIT Guwahati. The Jakhoi is an ingenious adaptation of a fishing trap developed by the locals. It is made of bamboo and used to catch small fish. Preparing bamboo strips - The bamboo is first cut into a number of pieces. Then the green sheath of the bamboo is removed to reveal the inner, lighter yellow layer. After the bamboo strips are split, the fibrous layer is removed.
