Dixie and Savannah w/ new food and new toys

I recently ordered some palm nuts from: http://www.youtube.com/user/TheCozyNestbox The girls really enjoyed the Fan palm nuts. The new toys are Planet Pleasures toys which they really enjoyed. Savannah had this one: http://rainbowparrots.com/mdtoys_naturecluster.php and Dixie had this one: http://rainbowparrots.com/mdtoys_cocorocket.php It didn't take them long to notice the new toys in each other's cage and they switched cages to test out each others toy. They will often check out each others toys and food which really cracks me up!! The girls are getting along really well. They do not play together or even perch together but they do watch each other and they will often "talk" to each other. I think they enjoy having each other around. As you can see Savannah still has not grown her feathers back. I don't see her plucking and I don't really seem to see pulled feathers on the bottom of the cage. But, it seems like her feathers should have grown back by now. Savannah has gained alot of weight since she has been here though which I am happy about. She weighed in the 350s when she got here and now she is up to the 380s which is getting close to what she should weigh. My treatment plan for her has not changed yet. I don't know if it is working or not. I am giving her daily doses of the Featherific and Avicalm from Avitec for the plucking. I also started feeding both of them Hemp seeds. I think the hemp seed is increasing Savannah's appetite. (Just my theory though) I am also giving Savannah daily sprays of George's Aloe spray. Which she tolerates but does not really enjoy for some reason.
