When "The Bridge on the River Kwai" plays at the Castro Theatre, you are sure to hear the "Colonel Bogey March" played before the film. The march was written in 1914, but immortalized in this 1957 film. Here are highlights from the pre-show concert performed by Harry Garland at the Mighty Wurlitzer. The songs are "King Kong March," "The High and the Mighty," "Colonel Bogey March," and "San Francisco."
