In the last year over 100,000 Australian workers have lost their job because of the global financial crisis. This video highlights just some of the sad stories of workers who have not only lost their jobs and shows the devastating impact the loss has on their lives and their families. A new plan to protect the jobs and entitlements of Australian workers affected by the global downturn has been endorsed today by unions at the triennial ACTU Congress being held in Brisbane.
