I was going through a period of severe alcoholism last year, during the same time I wrote most of "Victorious Obligations the Mixtape" this song was written at 4 am almost black out drunk and depressed while sitting outside on my apartment balcony. This song is really special though because it is literally an audible dream you can follow and entirely create your own mental music video based off the storyline. It goes like this...while the hook is playing imagine being me while I wrote it...I was just sitting outside on my balcony at 4 am with a half gallon of vodka...again almost black out drunk with some headphones and worsening depression. OK got it, now for the verses those are moments where my inebriation gets the best of me and I pass out on the floor and have these dreams...every verse is a drunken dream and then back to the hook which is me waking up and realizing I was still on my balcony and trying to fight the feeling of the vodka only to pass back out and dream another verse....making sense? Good! Verse 1 goes like this... I wake up to my home being raided by cops so I grab my gun and escape out the back door. As I'm running to the safe spot I call my homie Q and ask if he's down to ride and without questions he's down so I tell him I'll hit him up tonight. I'm stressing because the cops are after me so I'm smoking weed to calm down as I hear him pulling up out front of the safe spot. I look outside to see his car with all the windows rolled down and Q was in the driver seat, when I saw Q in real life with my own eyes I woke up back to my balcony still drunk out of my mind. I'm talking to a prisoner and telling them of different ways I'm going to torture them such as putting their feet in a puddle of water making their body more conducisive to electricity, or pouring blood on them and bringing in a wolf and tossing off the muzzle then pulling the wolf out while you're still concious and then hooking you up to a battery, remember the puddle lol, and finally even pouring acid on a forearm until the skin's gone. In this speech I tell my prisoner if they could see the world the way i do then maybe we wouldn't have issues then the jolt of this dream is that I get so psycho I shove my fingers inside the prisoners eye socket and pull out their eye. I lift it up to my face and flip it around and hold the eye in front of mine so that if they could still see we would have the same vision. So psycho I woke myself up and back to balcony... Verse 3 goes like this... I'm standing at a funeral for my father wondering how I feel and having difficulty remembering the last time we even hung out. I didn't even recognize him when I saw him in the casket. I looked at him deeply and realized I didn't care. I start explaining why and then in the heat of the moment I hear him say I Love You and it occured to me that I didn't know what my dads voice sounded like saying hello and that jolted me back into conciousness on the balcony.
