In this video, I list my Top 10 favorite albums of 2017. I excluded Gruesome's Fragments of Psyche solely because it has only one new song, one cover, and five demos of songs from the debut; otherwise, it would clearly have had a spot. It was a great year for metal. 2018 appears to be one as well, with new albums from Deeds of Flesh, Accu§er, Skeletal Remains, and Exodus coming out with new material, amongst other albums to look out for.

The albums:
Morfin - Consumed by Evil
Torture Squad - Far Beyond Existence
Overkill - The Grinding Wheel
Decrepit Birth - Axis Mundi
Vescera - Beyond the Fight
Suffocation - ...Of the Dark Light
Heretic - A Game You Cannot Win
Hexx - Wrath of the Reaper
Kreator - Gods of Violence
Power Trip - Nightmare Logic

Honorable mentions:
Havok - Conformicide
Morta Skuld - Wounds Deeper Than Time
Beheaded - Beast Incarnate
