Here's my National Pana Cycle box fan, model F-309R. I bought this fan from a guy who lives in Surakarta city, which is about 2 hours by motorcycle away from Semarang for Rp.160.000 which is about 11 US Dollars. It was in rough condition when it came here; the cabinet was covered in pet hair, grease, and dust which is really nasty, there was also an old perfume bar which emmits a really bad odour. The motor bracket was mounted backwards which tells me why the blades aren't original because it can't even fit in there. There was literally some dried up cement on the cabinet. The repair took about 2 days.

After all of the repairs, this fan looks pretty good. Now the weirdest thing that i found is that the guy selling this fan to me told that he once paid a guy to fix this fan, and i think okay might be just minor repairs. But actually, both of the bushings that were on the motor, got replaced by 2 ball bearings. There is a welded ring for both bearings to properly allign. And that's the reason why this fan made rolling noises, and spins down longer than a typical nicely lubricated motor with bushings. And like all other fans that were made around 1970's this fan could run on 110, & 220 volts AC.

Anyways, enjoy!
