Rode my bike over to the Tiburon Classic Auto Show today. Even though the invasion of Iraq and the catastrophe in the Gulf of Mexico have me SO damn down on fossil fuel... I love the sheer beauty and technological artistry of cool cars. :-/ Glad not to have missed this event. This is the kind of thing I read about later and... wish I hadn't missed it! I was just taking some photos when the guy got in and I realized he was going to start it up! Couldn't switch over to movie mode quick enough and the second he started it up I started recording. Would have loved to get the silence before. This video does not do justice to the sound. It was incredibly loud... and beautiful. I should have talked to the guy, but I believe cars like this... a re worth several million $$. It was lovely. To learn more about this car... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jaguar_D-Type
