Watch video of Dr. Dale Ballou’s Ph.D. student research seminar on value-added assessment in education. The question to be debated is that the state of Tennessee should require local education agencies to use value-added measures of teacher performance for high-stakes personnel decisions, including retention, licensure, and compensation. Faculty and students who attended were asked to judge the debate.
