In Part 2 we apply the first coat and then wipe it off.

This is the finish I apply to just about every one of my woodworking projects. I haven't seen any other info on the web about it so I figured I'd put together a series of videos showing how I mix and apply it. See full description for more!

I've found that most woodworking finishes are a mix of three factors:

• Ease of application
• Time spent applying
• Beauty & Protection

And it's usually a tradeoff: every finish only gets you two of the three in most cases. This one gives you beauty and ease of application in exchange for time: each coat takes a day to dry and you'll usually want 4+ coats. But for me that's a trade I'm willing to make as I think this is one of the most beautiful finishes you can get and it's really easy to mix and apply.

I learned about this finish from my first woodworking course up in Orange County, CA with William Ng at his school: https://wnwoodworkingschool.com/
