All my acrylic paints are mixed with a pouring medium in advance contained in squeeze bottles with out any addition of silicon. I began with a   10"x 20 " canvas  and first cover it in a layer of white paint .To that I add a small snaking river of white paint I use to allow paint to seep under to help create patterns.It sorta works but its not impressing me .I use a small spatula to manipulate paint.Still no joy.I add more paint from bottles and after that I decide to use my lamp chains to manipulate the paint and make gorgeous patterns until I am very pleased with my results.
THERE IS NO SILICONE in this artwork's paint mix.I use ZERO silicon in the pre mixed colors stored in squeeze bottles with no other cell creating additive is included. Floetrol and Gac 800 (By Golden)are what I use as pouring mediums. My paint mix or  "recipe" is as follows. Add color 90%  acrylic color to 10% "Golden's" Gac 800 .Mix thoroughly (GAC 800  prevents cracking) .Add Floetrol( by "Flood") , until the mixture is double (or more ) mix thoroughly. That's the whole  recipe  .To create shimmering colors, I add also"Golden's" Iridescent pearl medium  to colors.As much as looks right . Every day I learn something new. I never stop experimenting and I am happy to share what I discover with you.#3583 wet   #3621 dry
