Upgraded facilities at the Lae Metropolitan Command will hopefully improve operations in the Juvenile, Sexual Offence Squad Section, and cell management, especially with the professionalism of police officers. Lae Metropolitan Commander, Anthony Wagambie, said an improved working environment will contribute to better policing. The upgrade of the facilities was funded by the Australian Government.
