The Nissan March 55 is a show car prepared by Nissan Design Studio in Brazil especially for the participation of the Japanese brand in the 30th São Paulo Motor Show, held from November 8 to 18 in the São Paulo Expo. The model is the result of the partnership between Nissan and the Brazilian brand of men's and women's fashion King55.

The inspiration for its creation came from sustainability, with the use of ecological materials, young people and veganism, a way of life that is against exploitation and everything that involves animal suffering. It is the first co-brand partnership of Nissan in its 18 years of operation in the Brazilian market.

Equipped with a 1.6L 16V 111-horsepower engine and the CVT transmission, the Nissan March 55 - internally affectionately called the "Liberty" project - is a show car that also wants to reinforce for the public the "spirit of freedom" that a car offers to users.

The color and look are inspired by the pieces sold by the company King55, which has strong influence of street fashion around the world. So the front of the model draws attention with the red, black and white pattern inspired by one of the company's fashion footwear. On the right side of the front fender, there is the number 18 that highlights the 18 years of existence of Nissan in Brazil, the date celebrated on October 23.

The yellowish glasses represent sunglasses that protect the eyes from UV rays and bring cheerfulness. The leather straps on the hood are a tribute to the cars of the past, where guiding them was a personal experience. The ceiling features an area covered by jeans made from recycled pet bottle plastic. At the rear there are two racks to carry folding bikes for healthy sports practice.

Inside, the Nissan March 55 has areas of the steering wheel, dashboard, CVT gearbox and front air vents highlighted in orange "Lava". There is also a support strap in orange on the dashboard in front of the passenger. The benches and door panels come with recycled fabrics of pet plastics and scraps of fabric that follow the standard of the body.

"Partnering with a brand that has the same principles of sustainability and values as Nissan is gratifying for us," explains John Sahs, head of Nissan Design Studio in Brazil. "And the language of the King55 products also has a very direct connection to the predominantly young Nissan March consumer audience. We were very excited about this special collaboration."
