El desfile del jueves recaudó fondos para mantener un albergue en La Paz que acoge a niños y jóvenes con cáncer de bajos recursos económicos. Pero el evento, que se realiza en distintas ciudades cada año, también alienta a los jóvenes que han perdido algún miembro de su cuerpo en su batalla contra el cáncer.
