Wer warme Plätze sucht, kann hier eine kleine Auswahl treffen. Sei es in der Lobby des Grand Hotel Hayatt, im Grand Central Terminal oder an der Spitze des Empire State Buildings. 

Die Trinity Church, nahe der Wall Street wird an kalten Tagen gerne von Obdachlosen aufgesucht. Besser Begüterte versuchen es mit Shopping bei Macy's. Als Alternativen bieten sich auch der Bambusgarten im ehemaligen IBM Gebäude, die Lobby des Sony Gebäude, oder bei Kindern besonders begehrt, der Warner Bros Studio Stores an. 

Einen Kaffee oder ein Erfrischungsgetränk kann man im Trump Tower zu sich nehmen. Ein Essen im Drehrestaurant, an der Spitze des Marriott Hotels in der Nähe des Times Square, gewährt auch einen wunderbaren Ausblick auf New York City.
