The house of a former Zilla Panchayat member has been targeted by thieves in Vijayapura. Methi had visited Bengaluru to submit his resignation. When he returned home, he was shocked to see all valuables at his residence missing. Thieves have made away with 4 lakh rupees in cash, 300 grams gold jewellery and even his car that was parked outside his residence in Kanakadas layout. A case has been registered at the Jalnagar Police station.
