In conjunction with the upcoming 13th General Election of the Federation of Malaysia, KonstiYH Flight Review would like to dedicate this video to all Malaysian and the wonderful team of AirAsia, Malaysia's much loved no-frill airline. They have made AirAsia the most success and popular Malaysian brand around the Globe. AirAsia has bring together all Malaysian between Peninsula Malaysia and Sabah, Sarawak by providing ever increasing number of affordable domestic flights. Now everyone can fly.

I recently had the pleasure to experience the inflight services onboard AirAsia's Airbus 320-200 aircraft on its domestic route from Kuching International Airport, Sarawak to the capital city of Sabah, Kota Kinabalu, both in Malaysian Borneo. There are currently 3 daily flight between Kuching and Kota Kinabalu departing KCH at 09:40, 13:40 and 22:55 respectively. The journey should take about 1 Hour 25 minutes from gate to gate. AirAsia was founded in 1993 by DRB-Hicom, a Malaysian government-owned conglomerate and started its first flight on 18 November 1996. The heavily-indebted airline was then taken over in December 2001 by Dato Tony Fernandez for RM1, with RM40 million worth of debt. In just 11 years, Dato Fernandez has transformed Air Asia from a small airline with only 2 aircrafts to the largest low cost carrier in Asia with a strong fleet of 120 A320s and another 355 aircrafts on order. AirAsia together with its subsidiary Thai AirAsia, Indonesia AirAsia, AirAsia Japan & AirAsia Philippines currently operates more than 140 routes to 78 destinations throughout Asia.
