IMF Chief Says Global Economic Freefall May Be Winding Down

The head of the International Monetary Fund says the global economic slowdown threatens to reverse gains many countries have made in the past decade. But Dominique Strauss-Kahn said although he is certain global growth will remain in negative territory in 2009, recovery is possible in 2010 if countries work together and adopt policies aimed at ending the recession.
