If only it were healthy to eat bacon and mayo on a daily basis. THE ULTIMATE BLT SANDWICH: Soul-Food 101 2 slices sandwich bread 1 tablespoon mayonnaise 1 tomato 1 large piece of leaf lettuce Oscar Myers cooked bacon salt freshly ground black pepper Toast 2 slices of sandwich bread. Spread 1 piece with 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise, then layer on a few thick-cut tomato slices and sprinkle with kosher or sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. Top with a couple of slices of crisped bacon and a large piece of leaf lettuce.
