A light-hearted short clip guaranteed to make your students laugh! Easy to use, even with B1-level students, it is excellent if you need a break as you are moving from one hard task to another (or perhaps as a treat at the end!) I tend to use it in lessons about 'The News' or 'The Media', together with the other excellent clip 'Comedy for ELT -- Swiss News'. There is no handout -- just one simple question: 'What is the news?' Enjoy! :-) Another little gem from the brilliant comic duo Smith and Jones. Level: B1 + Topic: The News, The Media, Ages and Ageing. Taken from the BBC Series 'Alas Smith and Jones'. [NB: I do not own the copyright to this video clip.
