In this episode i discuss the platform and software used in my npSynth project - an RaspberryPi based surround sound processor.

I hope you like the sound, i used a zoom h2n, connected via USB and recorded with ffmpeg which also recorded one of my monitor outputs. I like it a lot, but had to fiddle with it (lol linux;) because alsa was dropping data, so i had to run a jack server and then connect ffmpeg to it. And connect the input to the ffmpeg port manually... i remember making patches to ffmpeg to automatically connect, guess i didn't push them.

And I hope the good sound doesn't deter from the thick slavic accent:D It'll get better over time.
