(20 Dec 2018) Children spending their holidays in the hospital got to take their minds off their illnesses for an hour, Wednesday (19 DEC. 2018) afternoon. Grammy-award-winning rapper, Tip "T.I." Harris surprised patients at Egleston Children's Hospital in Atlanta. "It's a different level of fulfilment. I'm just happy to be able to do something for the people who need it the most," said T.I. Children waited in line as the rapper greeted them one by one. Each patient walked away with a present picked up from under a giant Christmas tree standing in the hospital lobby. "When you've been blessed, I think it's your obligation to be a blessing. And I'm honored and privileged to be able to do so," said T.I. The rapper also stopped by the hospital's Seacrest Studios radio show where he encouraged kids the pursue their passions. "Whatever you're passionate about, man. If it wakes you up in the morning and it drives you to cultivate then I think you should explore it. You should definitely always apply as much time as you can to your passion," he said. Egleston was the first of three stops T.I. made on Wednesday to hand out gifts to Atlanta children.
