The neighbourhood of Saint-Henri is located in the north of Marseilles. Many of the district's 100,000 residents are immigrants. Poverty and unemployment is high,and drug use is common. The L'Alhambra,a historic movie theater,which dates back to the 1930s,was restored by the city and now functions as the cultural and social hub of the neighbourhood.
