An Easter tale with a priceless cast. No, not Peter Ustinov the narrator, but the menagerie of bejewelled animals from the House of Fabergé. These objets d'art are used as puppets in this elaborate Russian-influenced tale, although their lack of articulation results in them being jiggled about rather than animated. As is so often the case in his roles, Ustinov has great fun with the variety of characters and accents at his beck and call.
