Setting off air bags to help understand how they deploy, and why to be cautious when working with/around them. Supplemental Restraint Systems definitely demand some respect. These are side impact airbags from a late model (I believe a C6) Corvette, which fit in the side of the seats and deploy from the bolsters on a vehicle equipped with them. Also attempted to deploy a module [not shown] using an ohmmeter to check resistance. Supposedly, this can provide enough of a charge to ignite the pyro in an airbag, though we could not recreate this. Read 4Ω, if anyone is interested. Thanks for watching!
