Now that that's over, let me attempt to explain myself lol
This video ended up being the more taboo and creep-factor based video within the practice (not that I don't like the other two videos-- I actually prefer them to this one in terms of "Less Creepy equals Enjoyable" ) and thus is the one I'm uploading for the sake of saying "Dear lord, what have I done? Forgive me"
Anyway....in terms of what the idea behind this video is, it's tough to explain but I will give it a shot (Since really I had a small idea, and then it grew as I watched the end product numerous times to discover the meaning and story)
Basically, I'm trying to use canon as a plot device-- Edward succeeds in creating a being similiar to his mother (The Homunculus), however the creature does not act the same and in fact seems much more cold, but not distant. Over time, Edward notices each and every flaw his creation has and aims to fix it just to continue the illusion he had essentially created for himself. (Since...I assume with how little the creature acts like a mother and more time she's around, Alphonse might find reasons to object to the whole idea and seek to motivate Edward on the better path)
His selfishness pays off for a limited time-- the creature begins to get better and her flaws seem almost if not totally unapparent to Edward. The two continue their relationship, until the problems flare up again radically (The Homunculus moving in/making advancements towards Edward in a manner certainly not motherly.) and the illusion finally begins to shatter.
Edward berates himself for even attempting to counter God, and seeks a way to redeem himself. When his creation again shows her true flaws-- this time in the form of ill health, he does not seek a solution. Eventually, seeing his creation in so much pain, he has a lapse of concern, and attempts to fix her once more. She is bed ridden for months.
Seeking a way to end her misery (as well as his own), he explains that the only way to end her pain would be to kill her. She argues that she'd rather live, and continue their relationship and asks whether he loves her or not. Taken a back, Edward ends up with his lapse of judgement gain-- but raises his hands to perform the transmutation to end her.
In the end, he finds it difficult to move his hands towards her and end her.
ARGH why do I do this to my two favorites?  Eh...probably because I love them enough to hope for the happier ending.
This song is insanely haunting-- and is probably the whole reason this ends up being creepier. If I hadn't of gone so completely literal with each lyric, this would not be as creepy to me as it is.
But with as creepy as the song is, it is one of my favorites. Even if I'm likely going to see this video for a long while when listening to the song. Urgh...I need some brain bleach.
Ah well...atleast if you just think of her as a Homunculus rather than Edward's Mother, it becomes a little less creepy. I'd like to think Sloth and Trisha are completely seperate beings in that, Trisha is the ideal mother figure-- and Sloth is the ideal creation by two young boys.  Or you could completely disregard any plot from FMA and just think of it as a young alchemist creating a mate and finding his love for her will slowly kill them both? It works in a lot of different perspectives while still keeping a minor creep factor.
Wow, I'm still attempting to explain myself. Eh. Whatever.
