Turkana leaders demand thirty percent oil share revenue

A section of Turkana leaders have said that they will not allow oil to hit the road if not assured of thirty per cent of the oil revenue. The leaders led by Turkana Governor Josphat Nanok,Deputy Governor Peter Lotethiro, Senator Malachy Ekal, Turkana South MP James Lomenen, Turkana East MP Mohammed Ali Lokiru and 11 Members of Turkana County Assembly, say that they will remain united until Turkana gets its rightful share of the black gold to cater for many decades of marginalization.
