Herbicidal warfare is the deliberate destruction of plants and crops using either biological weapons or chemical weapons known as defoliants. This is a type of biological and chemical warfare designed to target enemy logistics and infrastructure. Either a disease is spread to destroy crops such as a blight or a defoliant like agent orange is used, either way this type of warfare can lead to both direct and indirect deaths, through chemical poisoning or starvation.
